Objectives Understand thread modeling of systems from practical point of view. Understand and can apply attack methods in practice and can develop countermeasures against attacks.
Contents Threats and vulnerabilities of information systems. Performing practical attacks against information systems in pairs to learn about information systems in practice. The course aims at learning practical skills of identifying assets, threats, vulnerabilities, and attacks, and how to protect againts attacks in practice.
Prerequisites T-110.4200, T-110.4100 (or equivalent skills). T-79.4501 or T-110.5210 recommended for cryptographic topics.
