Students are required to return an individual work (essay) on a selected topic in the course's area. The essay will be graded from 1-5 and will form 50% of the course grade.

A list of topics will be given on the third lecture Feb 1st (and added here). The students can select a topic from the list or suggest their own topics by Feb 8th by email to the lecturer.

The deadline for returning the assignment is April 30th. 

The final exam will be on 13.5.2011 between 9-12 at computer class rooms Maari-B and Maari-E. This is an open-book exam with Internet access.
