14 May 12 Major's student meeting on Wed 30.5
We're organizing major's student meeting in playroom (A120) on 30.5.2012 at 16 o'clock. The event is casual and ment for major's, Nordsecmob and Mobile Computing students. Also, students considering selecting telecommunications as their major are invited. In the event, you can talk about study affairs with our three professors and personnel, and of course get connected with other major's students. Please participate to the doodle poll if you intend to come, so that we can order enough pizza and drinks. Welcome!
08 May 12 Seminar day reminder
The 2 day course seminar is starting from tomorrow 9th of May 8:10 am at Lecture room T7. For more details on Seminar schedule please visit Seminar Schedule page on Noppa. Please upload your presentation slides to optima before the seminar begins. We will download all the slides into a presentation laptop before the seminar begins. If you have made any updates to your slides before your presentations, please bring it on your USB stick during presentation.

24 Apr 12 Seminar Schedule published
The seminar schedule is published. Also note that due to large numbers of students we have scheduled the seminar into two days, i.e. on 9th and 10th of May. The deadline for submitting presentation slides is on Wed 2nd of May. Please submit your slides on optima workspace as lastname.pdf or lastname.ppt under Submissions/Presentations folder. Also, review your opponent's paper and prepare at least 2 questions for discussion during the Q&A session.
24 Apr 12 Message from our English Teacher
Students who are taking the our English language support class, please read the following message by our English Teacher Roger Munn: Presentations practice: lecture ** Please note that we start at 10.00am! Aims/Objectives: to give you an opportunity to practice talking about your paper.  1. Before the lecture, please prepare a 5-7 minute summary of your paper. 2. During that lecture, I'm going to ask every one of you to give that short spoken summary of your paper to a fellow student, i.e. pair-work. 3. Thus, you may need to make some notes, and you may want to bring slides with you, either on paper, or in your laptop.  ** These summaries will NOT be given to the whole group!  4. We have time for 1 or 2 short presentations to the whole group if any of you would like to do that. The presentation should be about 8 minutes in length, and you may present your paper or part of of your paper.  Alternatively, you may choose a different topic altogether.   Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you Group A: Friday, 27 April 2012, 10.00 - 12.00. The English language support class may extend by an hour depending on lecture materials and student's participation during the class. 1st English class Group A: Friday, Feb 24 10:00 - 13:00 at A106 Group B: Monday, Feb 20 10:00 - 13:00 at T5 Note that the class starts exactly at 10:00.

We extremely apologise for the inconvenience. Please note the 1st English language class for Group A has been changed from Feb 17, 10:00-12:00 to Feb 24, 10:00 - 12:00 at Room A106.
